Family Drug Treatment Court Director
DUTIES:
- Manage caseload of all juveniles and parents/guardians enrolled in program
- Work with Family Drug Treatment Court Team to monitor participant progress
- Make home and school visits to participating families
- Hold occasional night/weekend activities for participants
- Administer and monitor urine drug tests
- Present weekly progress to Family Drug Treatment Court Team
- Create and submit quarterly progress reports to Executive Director, County Commission, and Oliver Springs City Council
- Track program efforts to ensure project goals, objectives and activities are being successfully completed
- Participate in Family Drug Treatment Court-related conferences and/or training program
- Present program findings to elected officials and community stakeholders
- Be available to law enforcement agencies and respond immediately to inquiries regarding program participants
- Collaborate with community agencies to generate in-kind program resources
- Work with Executive Director to identify sustainable funding sources
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Director
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong initiative and sense of collaboration
- Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task
- Computer skills, including knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Facebook, and Twitter. Knowledge of WordPress preferred
- Proficiency with written and spoken communication
- Candidates should have a working knowledge of the Court system and Tennessee law
- Candidates should be licensed as an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor
- Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Candidates must pass a background check and a drug screen
- Candidates must be adaptable and flexible, able to work with a diverse population
NOTES:
- This position is a dependent on grant funds. Salary commensurate with experience. Employee shall be expected to work 40 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
